Thangka Conservation Seminar, Kathmandu, September 15–20 is endorsed by UNESCO Nepal and in partnership with Aksheswar Traditional Buddhist Art College.

We welcome you to this unique and culturally immersive thangka conservation seminar in Nepal this September. You will be invited into communities, monasteries, artist studios and museums for hands-on learning activities every afternoon. Every morning brings lectures by experts.

Our seminar venue is ideal, located close to the Boudha Stupa and within walking distance to many of our afternoon activities. The venue has classrooms, a beautiful and delicious garden café offering diverse and healthy food choices, and guest rooms.

Please note that our Treasure Caretaker Training (TCT) team may not be repeating this immersive seminar next year due to increasing international commitments. This seminar will not be online, as the site visits are of utmost importance.
