Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues,

Good evening from Kathmandu, where the sun is sparkling over the mountain views and the air quality is 8.4 times more polluted than WHO health standards today.

After two days of busy preservation workshops, today was a relaxed day of meetings in cafes, visits to thangka studios, and nunneries.

Then back to hotel for packing up for helicopter travel to remote Tsum on the Tibetan borderlands tomorrow morning, and video calls with family at home.
